Medical Device Development

August 2012: FSI Systems Inc. has been awarded a contract to design, prototype and manufacture a medical device for an unnamed client. The contract, which includes guiding the custom design through UL and FDA approvals is currently valued at $2-3 MM with deliveries starting in 2013 with possible extensions through 2015.

For the past 10 years FSI Systems has been researching, developing and manufacturing battery and power related devices. We cooperate with leading battery and power supply systems manufacturers. This partnership has allowed us to collect a technical base and the experience required for fast and efficient development of battery-related devices.

We are experts in the design of battery electronics using Lithium based chemistry, and new rechargeable chemistries such as secondary alkaline. FSI designs both batteries and their respective chargers utilizing the latest in smart charge and demand based system charge techniques. Battery design spans both military and commercial applications and customers.

We provide consulting, design, development and manufacturing of complete power management systems. Close partnership with battery manufacturers allows us to order custom design batteries, or pick best of the self solution, depending on customer needs.
