FSI Systems is awarded “Farmington Business of the Year 2009”.
FSI was awarded the Farmington Business of the Year Award at the Farmington Chamber of Commerce 2009 Recognition Dinner.
Rose Kleman's 25 years of dedicated service to the Farmington community and as President of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce was also celebrated.

“With the concurrence of my fellow board members, we have proudly chosen FSI Systems Inc. located at 5847 County Road 41 in Farmington as the recipient of the 2009 Farmington Business of the Year Award.”

“FSI also has developed an internet-based, sophisticated telemetry system called ‘Phoenix’, which is FSI’s only standard product line. The system is remarkable in that it calls an individual’s cell phone during a problem and also the customer’s data base is picked up and sent via the internet to the FSI website. The data is ‘massaged’ and made available to the customer, who simply logs on to the FSI website using his or her account name and password. Phoenix is taking the telemetry industry by storm! Farmington Water and Sewer District was one of FSI’s first customers. The Phoenix System is being used to monitor the town’s vast installation of sewer equipment.
“FSI has grown from John himself to over 25 employees in just a few years. His long term goal is 75 employees as the business line continues to grow and flourish. He settled his business in Farmington in 2002. ‘It was the right move’ he said. Well it was the right move for Farmington. John not only contributes to the economic health of Farmington as a local employer, he finds himself immersed in Chamber business as well. Our latest chamber board member, John is also the chairman of the newly minted Farmington Business Council, formed this year specifically to help bring together the industrial and small business leaders of Farmington in an effort to address and solve problems common to the various types of local concerns.”
